Possible Causes
Clogged burner ports, Misaligned burner cap, Weak spark at igniter electrode, Failed spark module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off burner knobs and ensure no gas is flowing. Surfaces may be hot.
- Check burner cap: Ensure the cap is properly seated and centered on the burner base.
- Clean burner: Remove the cap and clean burner ports with a soft brush or a wooden toothpick. Do not enlarge the holes.
- Inspect igniter: Verify the igniter tip is clean and not cracked. Clean gently with a soft brush.
- Test spark: Turn the knob to ignite and observe spark. If no spark on any burner, the spark module or power supply may be faulty and should be replaced.
