Possible Causes

Broken oven temperature sensor, Disconnected sensor plug at rear of oven cavity, Damaged wiring harness to sensor, Faulty control board sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the range from mains before removing any panels. The oven cavity and rear panel edges can be sharp.

  • Cool the oven: Ensure the oven is completely cool before working.
  • Access sensor: Locate the temperature sensor inside the oven (usually a thin metal rod at the top rear). Check that it is firmly mounted and not physically broken.
  • Rear connection check (qualified): Pull the range forward, remove the rear panel, and verify the sensor connector is fully seated on the wiring harness.
  • Replace sensor if open: If you have a multimeter and skills, measure the sensor resistance (typically around 1 kΩ–1.1 kΩ at room temperature). If open or far out of range, replace with a Grundig‑compatible oven temperature sensor.

If F0 persists after sensor replacement, the electronic oven control may be faulty and require replacement.
