Grundig oven produces excessive smoke and burning smell during normal cooking.

• Initial burn‑in: For a new oven, run an empty cycle at 200–220°C for 30–45 minutes to burn off manufacturing residues.
• Clean cavity: Once cool, clean grease and food spills from the cavity, racks, and trays with a suitable oven cleaner.
• Avoid covering vents: Do not place foil or trays directly on the oven base or over vents.
