Clear input: Press the cancel/stop key to clear the current setting.
Re‑enter slowly: Enter the desired temperature or time within the range specified in the Hoover user manual.
Dry controls: Ensure the control panel is dry and free from spills that may cause false touches.
Power reset: If Err appears frequently, isolate power for 5 minutes, then restore.
If persistent: The control keypad or PCB may be faulty and require replacement.

Cooktop or oven display briefly shows “Err” when setting temperature or timer and refuses the input.
