How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Disconnect power at the breaker before touching any wiring or elements.
- Visual inspection: Look at the bake element for blisters, breaks, or burn spots.
- Wiggle test: Gently move the element where it enters the rear wall; if it feels loose, the terminals may be burnt or broken.
- Access terminals: Remove the rear panel and inspect the element terminals and wiring. Repair any burnt connectors and replace the element if damaged.
- Continuity test: With a meter, test the element for continuity. Replace if open.
