How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Identify upper sensor: On double-oven KitchenAid ranges, locate the sensor in the upper cavity.
- Check connections: Access the rear of the unit and locate the upper sensor harness. Ensure the connector is fully seated at both the sensor and control board.
- Test resistance: If you have a multimeter, test the sensor as described for F3E0. Replace if out of specification.
- Replace sensor: Remove mounting screws from inside the upper oven, pull sensor through, swap with new part, and reinstall.
