Possible Causes
Aged temperature sensor, control calibration offset, poor rack placement or pan type, door not sealing properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use an oven thermometer to verify temperature; avoid touching hot surfaces.
- Measure actual temp: Place an oven thermometer in the center of the oven and preheat to 350°F. Compare the reading after 20–30 minutes.
- Calibrate: If consistently off by the same amount, use the control's calibration function to adjust by ±5–30°F per the user manual.
- Inspect gasket: Replace the door gasket if heat is escaping around the door.
- Replace sensor: If calibration does not correct large errors, replace the oven temperature sensor.
