Cooktop makes loud buzzing or humming noises during operation

User guidance:

• Some low-level humming is normal with induction, especially at high power.
• Try different cookware; heavy, flat-bottomed pans usually produce less noise.
• Reduce power slightly to see if the noise diminishes.

Technician checks (if noise is excessive or new):

• Inspect the induction coils for secure mounting to the glass and chassis.
• Tighten any loose screws or brackets and replace missing damping pads.
• Check the cooling fan for worn bearings or imbalance.
• If noise is accompanied by performance issues, test and possibly replace the induction power module.
