Electric oven in Miele range does not heat at all; display and lights work normally.

Safety: Turn off power at the breaker before testing elements or thermostats.

• Try different modes: Test bake, broil, and convection modes. If none heat, suspect supply, thermal cutoff, or power module. If only one mode fails, suspect that element.
• Inspect elements: Look for visible breaks or blisters on the bake or broil elements.
• Continuity test: Disconnect element leads and measure resistance. Replace any open element.
• Check thermal cutoff: Locate the high‑limit thermostat / thermal fuse on the oven cavity or rear. Test for continuity; replace if open and investigate cause of overheating.
• Relay board: If elements and thermal devices are good, the power module/relay board may have failed and require replacement.
