Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor on power module, Sensor detached from heatsink, Damaged sensor wiring, Faulty power module sensor circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and wait for capacitors to discharge before touching the module.
- Locate sensor: On the induction power module, find the small NTC sensor attached to the heatsink or coil area.
- Check attachment: Ensure the sensor is firmly attached with its clip or thermal compound; reattach if loose.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature; compare to spec. Open or near‑zero readings indicate failure.
- Replace sensor: If defective, replace the NTC sensor with the correct Miele part. If integrated into the module, the entire module must be replaced.
