Possible Causes
Failed internal power supply on power module, Blown DC bus fuse, Shorted component on power board, Severe surge or lightning damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Induction power modules store energy in capacitors. After disconnecting power, wait several minutes before touching the board.
- Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 10 minutes and then restore power. If F47 returns immediately, internal damage is likely.
- Inspect power module: Remove the cooktop and access the induction power module. Look for blown fuses, bulging capacitors, or burn marks.
- Fuse check: If the module has a replaceable DC fuse, test it with a multimeter. Replace only with the exact type and rating if blown, and investigate for underlying shorts.
- Module replacement: In most cases, the entire power module must be replaced. Match the Miele part number and configuration.
