Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool fully. Fans may start unexpectedly during diagnostics—keep fingers clear.

Listen for fan operation: During a bake or convection cycle, the convection and cooling fans should run. If silent, suspect a fan or control issue.
Access fans: Remove the rear panel (for cooling fan) or interior rear cover (for convection fan) to inspect the fan motors.
Spin test: Manually spin the fan blades. They should rotate freely without grinding. Replace the motor if seized or noisy.
Voltage test: With power restored and extreme caution, measure voltage at the fan terminals when the fan should be running. If correct voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the fan motor. If no voltage, suspect the control board or wiring.
Clean obstructions: Remove any insulation, foil, or debris blocking the fan.

Because live voltage testing is required, many users should defer this repair to a professional.
