Possible Causes
No electrical supply to cooktop, Failed ignition module, Broken or disconnected ignition switch at knob, Blown internal fuse on control/ignition board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off gas at the shutoff valve before servicing. Disconnect power before opening panels.
- Check power: Verify the outlet or junction box has power and that any GFCI or breaker is not tripped.
- Test other functions: If the oven light or display works but no burners click, suspect the ignition module or knob switches.
- Inspect knob switches: Remove the knobs and top panel as needed to access the ignition switches on the valve stems. Check for broken actuators or loose wires.
- Module check: If switches close properly but no spark is produced on any burner, replace the ignition module.
