Oven light does not work but oven heats normally.

Safety: Turn off power before replacing bulbs or touching the socket. Use only Miele‑approved high‑temperature lamps.

• Replace lamp: Remove the glass cover over the oven lamp, unscrew the bulb, and install a new one of the correct type and wattage.
• Check socket: Inspect the socket for heat damage or corrosion. Replace if contacts are burned.
• Door switch: If the light should come on when the door opens, test the door switch for continuity.
• Control issue: If the lamp and socket are good but no power is supplied, the control board’s light relay may be faulty and require replacement.
