Possible Causes
Failed temperature sensor reading low, Stuck relay on control board, Cooling fan not running (for fan-cooled control), Blocked oven vents
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the cooker switch and allow the oven to cool completely. Do not continue using the oven until the cause is identified.
- Check door seal: Inspect the oven door gasket for gaps or damage that could affect temperature control. Replace if hardened or torn.
- Verify cooling fan operation: On models with a tangential cooling fan, the fan should run during and after cooking. If not, the fan or its thermostat may be faulty.
- Inspect vents: Ensure rear and top vents are not blocked by foil, trays, or wall cabinets too close to the cooker.
- Test temperature sensor: As with F0, measure the sensor resistance. A sensor reading significantly out of range can cause F2 and should be replaced.
- If sensor is good: The EOC relay may be sticking closed, causing runaway heating. Replace the control board.
