How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the appliance before removing the control panel.
- Power cycle: Turn off at the mains for several minutes, then restore power to see if the error clears.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control fascia and check the flat cable between the display and main board. Reseat both ends carefully.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white deposits on connectors indicating moisture damage. Clean gently with contact cleaner if minor.
- Replace faulty module: If reseating does not help, either the display PCB or main control PCB must be replaced after proper diagnosis.
