Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker. Wait 5–10 minutes for capacitors in the induction module to discharge.
Usage checks:
- Verify you are using induction-compatible cookware (magnetic base). Test with a magnet; it should stick firmly.
- Ensure the pan fully covers the marked cooking zone.
Internal checks (advanced):
- Remove the cooktop glass to access the induction coils.
- Inspect the affected coil for cracks, burnt spots, or detached mounting hardware.
- Check the wiring harness from the coil to the power module for loose or damaged connectors.
- With a multimeter (unit unplugged), measure coil resistance and compare to service specs. Replace the coil if open or shorted.
Note: If the coil and wiring are good, the induction power module may be defective and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
