• Locate simmer adjustment: Remove the burner knob. Behind the valve stem, locate the small simmer adjustment screw (consult the service manual for exact location).
• Adjust flame: Light the burner and turn it to the lowest setting. Using a small screwdriver, slowly turn the simmer screw until the flame is stable and just above the burner ports without going out.
• Check gas supply: If flames are weak on all burners, have a gas technician verify supply pressure and regulator operation.
