Induction Coil / Pan Resonance Noise
Induction cooktop makes a loud buzzing or humming noise, especially at high power.

Possible Causes
Thin or warped cookware, High power level with small pan, Loose mounting of induction coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Noise alone is not usually dangerous, but always use cookware recommended by the manufacturer.
Steps:
- Try different cookware: Use a heavier, flat-bottomed pan designed for induction. Noise often decreases with better cookware.
- Adjust power level: Reduce the power setting slightly. Many induction systems are noisiest at maximum power.
- Check coil mounting (qualified person): If noise is excessive or new, disconnect power, remove the cooktop, and inspect the mounting screws and brackets securing the induction coil to the glass. Tighten any loose hardware.
Note: A mild humming or clicking is normal for induction, but sudden changes in noise level may indicate a loose component.
