How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Dry the unit: If E6 appeared after a spill, allow the cooktop to dry completely for several hours with power disconnected.
- Check harness: Remove the glass top or control bezel as required. Inspect and reseat the low-voltage harness between the touch control board and the power module.
- Board substitution: If wiring is intact, replace the user interface/control board. If E6 persists, replace the induction power module.
