F9 displayed, oven door may be locked or will not lock/unlock after self-clean.

Safety first: Turn off power. The lock mechanism can move suddenly if energized.

• Manual door release: If the door is locked, remove the top panel or rear panel to access the lock assembly. Manually move the lock arm to release the door.
• Inspect lock mechanism: Check for bent rods, broken plastic cams, or seized lock motor. Replace the door lock assembly if any mechanical damage is found.
• Test lock motor: With power off, disconnect the lock motor and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• Check switches: Test the lock position switch for proper continuity in locked and unlocked positions.
• Control board: If the lock assembly and wiring are good, the control may not be sending or reading lock signals correctly. Replace the electronic oven control board.
