Control panel displays LOC or a lock icon and will not accept temperature or mode changes.

Safety first: No internal repair is needed for this condition.

• Disable control lock: On most Summit electronic ranges, press and hold the LOCK or OVEN LOCK key for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator disappears. If there is no dedicated key, press and hold START and CANCEL together for several seconds (consult your user manual for the exact combination).
• Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn the breaker off for 1 minute, then restore power and try the lock sequence again.
• Check for stuck key: If the lock icon reappears immediately, a key may be stuck. Clean the keypad surface and ensure no key is physically jammed. If necessary, replace the control keypad.
