Burned-out oven bulb, Faulty door switch, Failed light switch or relay on control board, Corroded lamp socket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before replacing the bulb or working near the socket.
- Replace bulb: Remove the light cover inside the oven and replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature appliance bulb specified by Summit.
- Door switch: Test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace the oven door switch if faulty.
- Socket inspection: Inspect the lamp socket for corrosion or heat damage. Replace the lamp socket if contacts are burned.
- Control relay: If the bulb, switch, and socket are good, the light relay on the control board may have failed. Replace the electronic oven control board if necessary.
