Possible Causes

Failed convection fan motor, seized fan bearing, obstructed fan blade, wiring fault to fan, faulty fan relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before removing the back panel or fan cover.

  • Check fan operation: During a fan-assisted cooking mode, the fan should run continuously. If it does not, or is noisy, suspect the fan motor.
  • Inspect fan blade: Remove the internal fan cover inside the oven and check for food debris or foil obstructing the fan. Clean thoroughly.
  • Test fan motor: Access the rear of the oven and locate the fan motor. Check for free rotation by hand. If stiff or seized, replace the motor.
  • Electrical test: With power off, measure motor winding resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. If the motor is good but not receiving power when commanded, the control board or wiring may be faulty.

Note: Always refit the fan cover before using the oven; operating without it can cause uneven cooking and safety issues.
