Pan Size Detection / Safety Cut-Out
Induction hob zones shut off automatically after a few seconds when using small pans.

Possible Causes
Pan diameter too small for zone, warped pan base, incompatible cookware material, hob firmware safety threshold
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure pans are stable and centered on the zone.
- Use correct pan size: Match the pan diameter to the zone marking. Very small pans may not be detected reliably.
- Check pan base: Use flat, thick-based pans. Warped bases reduce coupling and can trigger shut-off.
- Test with known good pan: Try a different, larger ferromagnetic pan. If it works, the issue is with the original cookware, not the hob.
