Oven emits a strong burning smell or smoke during normal cooking (not first use).

Safety first: If you see heavy smoke or suspect an electrical burning smell, switch off the oven and isolate from mains immediately.

• Internal cleaning: Once cool, remove racks and clean the oven cavity, especially around elements and the base, with an appropriate oven cleaner.
• Check for foil: Ensure no foil or liners are touching the elements or blocking vents.
• Inspect wiring (advanced): Remove the rear panel and check for discolored or melted wires and connectors. Replace any damaged parts.

Note: A slight smell is normal on first use or after high-temperature cleaning, but persistent burning smells require investigation.
