Possible Causes

Stalled ice maker motor, Broken ice maker gear or tray, Faulty ice maker position sensor, Wiring fault between ice maker and PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before working on the ice maker.

E11 is associated with the automatic ice maker assembly on equipped Candy models.

  • Inspect ice maker: Remove the ice bucket and visually inspect the ice maker for jammed ice cubes or broken plastic parts.
  • Clear jams: If cubes are stuck, gently remove them and ensure the tray can move freely.
  • Check connections: Verify the ice maker harness is firmly connected to the freezer wiring.
  • Motor and sensor test: If you have access to service mode, run an ice maker test cycle. If the motor does not move, the motor or sensor may be faulty.
  • Replace ice maker assembly: On most Candy units, the ice maker is replaced as a complete module. Install the new assembly and reconnect wiring.
