Possible Causes

Cutting deck clogged with wet grass, Blade motor overloaded by tall or dense grass, Seized blade bearing, Faulty blade motor driver on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the main power, remove the battery connector, and wait for all moving parts to stop. Never work near the blades with power connected.

  • Inspect cutting deck: Turn the mower upside down. Remove all packed grass, twigs, and debris from around the blade disc and motor housing. Ensure the blade disc rotates freely by hand.
  • Check blade condition: Inspect the blades or blade disc for bends, damage, or foreign objects (wire, stones). Replace damaged blades immediately.
  • Test rotation: With power still OFF, spin the blade disc by hand. It should rotate smoothly without grinding or tight spots. If it is stiff, the blade motor bearing may be seized.
  • Reduce cutting load: Raise the cutting height using the mower's height adjustment and mow shorter sessions, especially if the grass is tall or wet.
  • Restart: Reconnect power, clear the error, and start a short test mow. If E03 reappears quickly with a clean deck, the blade motor or motor driver circuit may be failing.
