Possible Causes
Boundary wire laid too close to metal fencing, Nearby power cables causing interference, Loose boundary wire connections, Faulty boundary signal amplifier on base station
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before adjusting the boundary system.
- Check boundary layout: Ensure the boundary wire is installed according to Segway's minimum distance from metal fences, buried cables, and other robotic mower wires. Increase the distance where possible.
- Secure connections: Recheck all boundary wire connectors and junctions for corrosion or looseness. Replace any green or corroded connectors with new waterproof ones.
- Reduce interference: If the boundary wire runs parallel to mains power cables, try rerouting it or increasing the separation distance.
- Inspect base station: Confirm the base station is level and firmly anchored. Check that the boundary terminals are tight and free of corrosion.
- Test with shorter loop: Temporarily create a small test loop of boundary wire directly at the base station. If E06 disappears on the test loop, the issue is with the yard installation; if not, the base station's signal amplifier may be faulty.
