How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect power before opening any covers near the antenna or electronics.
- Check sky visibility: Ensure the mower is operating in an open area with minimal tree cover and no tall buildings directly overhead. RTK base antenna (if used) should also have a clear view of the sky.
- Inspect GNSS antenna: Locate the GNSS/RTK antenna on the mower (often on the top cover). Check for physical damage, cracks, or loose mounting.
- Verify antenna cable: Open the top cover and trace the coaxial cable from the antenna to the GNSS module. Ensure the connectors are tight and the cable is not pinched or cut.
- Reboot system: Power cycle the mower and, if applicable, the RTK base station. Allow several minutes for satellite lock.
- Check firmware and app: Use the Segway app to confirm the mower firmware is up to date. Some GNSS issues are resolved by firmware updates.
If E09 persists with good sky view and intact cabling, the GNSS/RTK receiver module may be defective.
