• Locate rain sensor: On many Segway models, the rain sensor is on the top cover as a small grid or pad. Consult the manual for exact location.
• Clean sensor surface: Wipe the sensor gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt, pollen, or residue. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Dry the mower: If the mower has been exposed to heavy rain, move it to a dry, sheltered area and allow it to dry completely for several hours.
• Inspect wiring: Check the cable from the rain sensor to the main board for damage or loose connections.
• Disable rain mode (if allowed): Some models allow temporary disabling of the rain sensor in the app for testing. If E15 disappears when disabled, the sensor itself is likely faulty.
