Possible Causes
Battery pack overheating, Blocked ventilation, High load from jammed brush or wheels, Failing battery cells
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock. Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes in a cool, dry place.
- Check for blockages: Inspect main brush, side brushes, and wheels for jams that could increase current draw. Clear all debris.
- Ensure ventilation: Make sure the air vents on the robot body are not blocked by dust or covers.
- Test runtime: After cooling, fully charge the robot and run a cleaning cycle. Monitor how long it runs before E13 appears.
- If runtime is very short or E13 recurs: Replace the Li-ion battery pack with an AEG-approved unit. If the issue continues with a new battery, the mainboard’s power circuitry may be faulty.
