How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the robot.

  • Remove and reseat bin: Pull out the dust bin completely and then push it back in firmly until it clicks.
  • Inspect bin latch: Check that the latch is not broken and that the bin sits flush with the body.
  • Clean switch area: Look inside the bin compartment for a small switch or sensor. Blow out dust with compressed air or gently clean with a dry brush.
  • Test: Power ON the robot and see if the error clears.
  • If E17 remains: The dust bin detection switch may be faulty and require replacement.
