Possible Causes
Main brush motor failure, Broken brush drive belt or gear, Side brush motor failure, Disconnected brush motor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF and flip the robot over.
- Check for jams: Remove main and side brushes and clear all debris from the brush housings.
- Spin brush sockets: With brushes removed, gently try to rotate the drive sockets by hand. They should move with some resistance.
- Test without brushes: Power ON the robot and start cleaning while observing the brush drive sockets. If they do not turn, the motors are not driving.
- Inspect wiring (advanced): If comfortable, remove the bottom cover to check for loose brush motor connectors.
- Replace faulty parts: Install a new main brush motor assembly or side brush motor module as needed.
