Possible Causes

Stripped drive gears, Broken wheel axle, Internal gearbox damage, Wheel hub loose on shaft

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the robot and place it upside down.

  • Wheel resistance test: Try to rotate each wheel while holding the robot. If the wheel spins freely without turning the motor, the gearbox or hub is stripped.
  • Check for cracks: Inspect the wheel hubs for visible cracks or looseness.
  • Listen for motor: Power ON and start cleaning while holding the robot. If you hear the motor but the wheel doesn’t drive, the gearbox is likely damaged.
  • Replace assembly: Replace the affected drive wheel assembly (which includes motor and gearbox) following service instructions.
