How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and disconnect it from the dock. Do not use liquids to clean the control panel.
- 1. Dry the unit: If the robot was recently cleaned with a wet cloth or exposed to spills, allow it to dry in a warm, dry room for 24 hours (away from direct heat sources).
- 2. Try app or remote control: If available, attempt to control the robot via the mobile app or IR remote. If those work but the physical buttons do not, the keypad panel is suspect.
- 3. Power cycle: Turn the power switch OFF for 30 seconds, then ON again.
- 4. Advanced inspection: Opening the top cover will expose the button panel PCB and its flex cable. Ensure the cable is fully seated in the main board connector.
- 5. If E15 persists: Replace the button panel PCB or, if no separate panel is used, the main control board. This is best handled by a technician.
