How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot is powered ON and not in Do Not Disturb mode (if applicable).
- 1. Replace remote batteries: Install fresh batteries in the remote control, observing correct polarity.
- 2. Clean IR window: Wipe the IR receiver window on the robot (usually on the front or top) with a soft cloth.
- 3. Test remote output: Point the remote at a smartphone camera and press buttons; you should see a flashing light on the camera screen, indicating IR output.
- 4. Test at close range: Stand within 1–2 meters of the robot and aim the remote directly at the receiver.
- 5. If E20 persists and the remote is confirmed working: The IR receiver module on the robot may be faulty and require replacement or main board service.
