Dock Localization / Return-to-Home Failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the dock is plugged in and the area around it is clear.
- 1. Reposition dock: Place the dock against a wall with at least 1 meter of clear space in front and 0.5 meters on each side. Avoid corners and behind furniture.
- 2. Clean IR sensors: Wipe the front of the dock and the robot's IR receiver window.
- 3. Reset map (for mapping models): Use the app to delete the existing map and allow the robot to create a new one.
- 4. Check battery health: If the robot often stops far from the dock with low battery, consider replacing the battery pack.
- 5. If the robot still cannot find the dock: The IR home sensor or navigation system may be faulty and require service.
