Possible Causes
Oily or sticky residue on wheels, Dirty main brush, Rubber treads degrading, Picked up liquids or wet dirt
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and do not allow it to run through liquids.
- 1. Clean wheels: Wipe the drive wheels and front caster wheel with a slightly damp cloth to remove residue, then dry thoroughly.
- 2. Clean main brush: Remove the main brush and wash it with mild soap and water if the manual allows. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- 3. Inspect treads: If the rubber treads are soft, sticky, or crumbling, replace the drive wheel modules.
- 4. Avoid wet messes: Do not use the robot to clean up spills or wet dirt, as this can contaminate components and cause streaking.
