Possible Causes
Aged lithium battery pack, Frequent partial charges, High-temperature storage, Internal cell imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock before accessing the battery.
- 1. Perform a full charge: Place the robot on the dock and charge for at least 4–6 hours until the indicator shows full.
- 2. Run a full cycle: Start a cleaning cycle and time how long the robot runs before returning or shutting down.
- 3. Compare to specifications: If runtime is significantly below the advertised duration (e.g., less than 20–30 minutes), the battery is likely worn.
- 4. Replace battery pack: Open the battery compartment (usually under the bottom cover), disconnect the old pack, and install a new, compatible Amazon Basics robot vacuum battery pack. Secure it and reassemble.
- 5. Calibrate (optional): After replacement, fully charge and then run the robot until it returns to dock to help the system recalibrate battery estimates.
