Possible Causes
Hair wrapped around caster axle, Dirt inside caster socket, Worn caster bearing, Bent caster stem
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over on a soft surface.
- 1. Remove caster wheel: Pull the front caster straight up to remove it from its socket (some models may require a small tool to pry it out).
- 2. Clean axle and socket: Remove hair and debris from the caster axle and inside the socket. Use tweezers if necessary.
- 3. Check rotation: Spin the caster wheel by hand. If it feels rough or sticks, replace the front caster wheel assembly.
- 4. Reinstall caster: Push the caster back into the socket until it clicks and rotates freely.
