Possible Causes
Wi‑Fi module firmware corruption, Loose Wi‑Fi antenna connection, Faulty Wi‑Fi PCB, Router incompatibility or signal interference
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot is on a stable surface and not in the middle of a cleaning cycle.
- Reboot robot and router: Power cycle the robot and restart your Wi‑Fi router.
- Re-add robot in app: Use the Bissell app to remove and then re-add the robot, following the pairing instructions carefully.
- Check Wi‑Fi band: Confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network if the robot does not support 5 GHz.
- Reduce interference: Move the dock closer to the router or away from thick walls and appliances.
- If E12 remains and local controls work: The internal Wi‑Fi module or antenna may be defective. Replacement of the Wi‑Fi communication board is a board-level repair.
