Possible Causes
Fan impeller obstructed by debris, Suction motor bearings worn, Internal tachometer sensor failure, Wiring issue between motor and main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the dust bin. Do not insert fingers into the fan opening.
- Inspect fan inlet: Look into the suction inlet for large debris or foreign objects and remove them with tweezers.
- Check dust bin seals: Ensure the bin and its seals are correctly installed and not deformed, which can strain the motor.
- Clean filters: Dirty filters can cause the motor to overwork. Clean or replace filters as per the manual.
- Test suction: Power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle. Listen for abnormal fan noise (grinding, rattling).
- If E14 persists or noise is abnormal: The suction motor assembly, including the tachometer sensor, likely needs replacement. Install a new suction motor/fan module.
