Possible Causes
Dock placed in poor location, IR signal blocked by furniture, Dirty IR sensors, Weak battery preventing return trip
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the dock is plugged in and the robot is powered on.
- Reposition dock: Place the dock against a straight wall with clear space in front and on both sides as per the manual.
- Clean IR windows: Wipe the robot's front IR window and the dock's IR emitter window.
- Reduce obstacles: Remove objects directly in front of or beside the dock that may block the signal.
- Check battery health: If the robot stops far from the dock with low charge, the battery may be weak. Replace the battery pack if runtime is short.
