Robot vacuum runs for only a few minutes, then returns to dock or shuts off without an error code.

Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove it from the dock before handling the battery.

• Fully charge: Place the robot on the dock and allow it to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–5 hours until the indicator shows full.
• Run a full cycle: Start a cleaning cycle and time how long it runs before returning to dock. If runtime is significantly below the specification, the battery is likely worn.
• Inspect battery (if accessible): Remove the battery cover and check for swelling or corrosion. Do not use a swollen battery.
• Replace battery: Install a new, compatible Bissell robot vacuum battery pack, ensuring connectors are firmly seated and polarity is correct.
