How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power off the robot and remove it from the dock. Do not use or charge a battery that is swollen, leaking, or smells burnt.

  • 1. Confirm proper charging: Place the robot on the dock and verify the charging LED pattern matches the user manual (usually pulsing or solid). Leave it on the dock for at least 3 hours.
  • 2. Inspect battery connector: If the battery compartment is user-accessible, remove the bottom cover and check that the battery plug is fully seated in the main board socket. Reseat it if loose.
  • 3. Cool-down period: If the robot was used heavily, let it cool for 30 minutes, then attempt to charge again. Overheated packs can temporarily reduce available capacity.
  • 4. Run a full discharge test: After a full charge, start a cleaning cycle and time how long the robot runs before E02 appears. If runtime is significantly below the specification (e.g., less than 15–20 minutes), the pack is likely worn out.
  • 5. Replace the battery pack: Obtain the correct Electrolux replacement battery pack model for your robot. Remove the old pack, install the new one, ensuring polarity and connector orientation are correct. Reassemble the cover and fully charge before first use.
  • 6. If E02 remains with a new pack: The charging circuit or battery sensing circuit on the main control board may be faulty. Professional diagnosis is recommended.
