Possible Causes
Blocked air duct or inlet, Clogged pre-filter or HEPA filter, Burned-out suction motor, Loose suction motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off the robot and remove the dustbin before inspecting the suction path.
- 1. Empty the dustbin: Remove the dustbin and empty all debris. Check for clumps of dust blocking the inlet or outlet of the bin.
- 2. Clean filters: Remove the pre-filter and HEPA filter from the dustbin. Tap them gently over a trash can to remove dust. If washable per Electrolux instructions, rinse with cold water and allow to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
- 3. Inspect suction channel: Look into the suction opening on the robot body for blockages. Use a flashlight and a small brush to clear any lodged debris.
- 4. Test suction motor: With the dustbin removed, power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle. Listen for the suction motor. If it does not run or makes a burning smell, turn the robot off immediately.
- 5. Check wiring (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and locate the suction motor assembly. Verify the connector is firmly attached to the main PCB.
- 6. Replace suction motor assembly: If the motor is silent, noisy, or E07 persists after cleaning, replace the complete Electrolux suction motor/fan assembly according to the service manual.
