Possible Causes
Faulty tilt sensor, Robot used on very uneven surfaces, Loose tilt sensor connector, Firmware misreading orientation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the robot on a flat, stable surface during troubleshooting.
- 1. Place on level ground: Set the robot on a hard, flat floor. Avoid thick carpets or mats that can tilt the unit.
- 2. Power cycle: Turn the robot off for 30–60 seconds, then power it back on. Start a cleaning cycle without lifting or moving it.
- 3. Avoid carrying while running: Do not pick up or tilt the robot while it is operating, as this can trigger the tilt sensor and cause E10.
- 4. Internal check (advanced): If E10 appears immediately on startup, open the unit to locate the tilt sensor (often a small board or component near the center). Ensure its connector is firmly seated.
- 5. Replace tilt sensor: If the sensor is physically damaged or continues to misread orientation, replace the Electrolux tilt/lift sensor module.
