How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before cleaning the camera lens.
- 1. Clean the camera lens: Locate the top-facing camera on the robot. Wipe the lens gently with a clean microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- 2. Remove obstructions: Ensure no stickers, covers, or decorative items are blocking the camera’s view.
- 3. Avoid harsh lighting: Test the robot in a room with even lighting. Avoid direct sunlight shining into the camera.
- 4. Reboot and recalibrate: Power cycle the robot and, if the app offers it, run any available navigation or mapping calibration routine.
- 5. Internal check (advanced): Open the top cover to access the camera module. Verify the ribbon cable is fully seated in the main PCB connector.
- 6. Replace camera module: If E13 persists and the camera feed is not recognized, replace the Electrolux top camera/navigation module.
