Possible Causes
Dustbin not installed correctly, Robot not in READY state (on dock or tilted), Child lock or key lock enabled in app, Faulty start/power button PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot is on a flat surface and not near stairs.
- 1. Confirm dustbin installation: Remove and firmly reinstall the dustbin until it clicks.
- 2. Check app settings: Open the Electrolux app and verify that any child lock or key lock features are disabled.
- 3. Place on floor: Remove the robot from the dock and place it on a level floor. Avoid holding it in the air when pressing Start.
- 4. Try hardware buttons: Attempt to start cleaning using the physical Start/Clean button on the robot instead of the app.
- 5. Reboot: Turn the robot off and back on, or perform a soft reset as described in the manual.
- 6. If still unresponsive: The button PCB or main control board may be faulty. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the Electrolux user interface/button board.
